We just got done hosting our first CouchSurfer (hi, Leon!), and it was a great experience. No one got killed or mutilated, and Amy and I were able to show Leon some really cool things that he wouldn’t have otherwise seen in Melbourne: Amy took him to Fitzroy, I took him to the Collingwood Children’s Farm. Leon taught us how to make some cool Chinese dishes, and went racing around...

Yes, it’s been a while. I should have posted a warning, but I was in New Zealand for the last couple of weeks, and I’ve just gotten back to Melbourne. Access to the tubes was spotty/expensive, so I didn’t do anything other than delete email from mailing lists while I was gone. I’ll be posting photos in the next few days, but I have a mountain of laundry to do, and...

I was supposed to be doing a photo a week, but I’ve missed a week. My folks are visiting, and we’ve been running around having fun and preparing for our forthcoming two-week trip to New Zealand. Many, many more pictures coming soon. Until then, the tension mounts…..

Polaroid is going to stop making instant film. That’s going to make it hard to do polaroid transfers.
